this is a close-up photo of one of the covers. All volumes in this lot are in such excellent condition, except for one issue which has a tiny damage to the back!
the Reichs Party Day grounds in Nuremberg are mentioned in more then one issue, on the photo above the famous grand stand and models of the huge arenas Albert Speer had envisioned but which were never built bevause of the start of the war.
the photo above and below show the new built embassy of Italy (Axis partner of Hitler-Germany) which was built in the district Tiergarten in Berlin, only minutes away from the New Reichschancellery (this embassy building is still in existence).

Offered for sale is the
UNIQUE LOT OF NINETEEN (!) RARE ORIGINAL 1938 - 1943 THIRD REICH ARCHITECTURE AND ART OVERSIZE PHOTO MAGAZINES DIE KUNST IM DRITTEN REICH (the ART IN THE THIRD REICH) INCLUDING THE SOUGHT AFTER SEPTEMBER 1938 ISSUE ON THE REICHS PARTY DAY GROUNDS AND THE ISSUES ON ADOLF HITLERS REICHSKANZLEI, HIS FURNITURE AND MUCH MUCH MORE! AMAZING PHOTO MATERIAL ON HIGH QUALITY GLOSSY PAPER! These 11 x 14-1/4 (!) inches monthly periodicals were published by order of Adolf Hitler to educate the fellow German "Volksgenosse" in the new style of architecture and art in the German Third Reich which i.e. replaced what the Nazi called degenerate art. Each issue is full of photographs, many of them full page and some even in full color(!), printed on high quality glossy paper. This lot includes the almost complete year of 1938 (10 out of 12 issues) and some from the years 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942 and 1943. Two issues (#8/9 1940 and #8/9 1941) are double issues with two volumes for two months together. The September 1938 issue is one of the most sought after issues as it contains a great photo documentation with full page photos on the Reichs Party Day Grounds in Nuremberg!! One other issue contains a photo report on the building complex of the Reichs Labor Service Leadership (Reichsarbeitsdienst) in Berlin, another copy is on the big Hitler Youth guest house in Berlin-Kladow, one on the new embassy of Italy, Hermann Görings Luftfahrt-ministerium (Air State Ministry), Adolf Hitlers furniture and lots of Nazi architecture and Third Reich art. Of course there are also lots of high quality photos of sculptures and paintings from famous Third Reich artists in all issues (like i.e. Arno Breker, Josef Thorak, etc.) plus very artful advertisings!
Paul Ludwig Troost was the designer of a lot of Adolf Hitler's furniture and some of them which stood in the Old and New Reichschancellery as well as in the "Führer-haus" in München are displayed and described in one of the publications.
