ITEM #A-264 Offered for sale is a SCARCE ORIGINAL 1934 THIRD REICH PHOTO BOOK ON THE NATIONAL SOCIALIST SEIZURE OF POWER 1933 das jahr der deutschen (1933 the year of the germans) PUBLISHED BY GAULEITER OF FRANCONIA AND TOP JEW HATER JULIUS STREICHER The 9 x 11-3/4 inch, 510 (!)-pages hardcover book was published 1934 by order of Julius Streicher, Gauleiter of Franken (Franconia), printed by the Vaterlaendischer Verlag E.A. Weller in Berlin. Offered here is a near mint copy of the first edition (1 - 15,000) with rare original dust jacket. The heavily illustrated book describes in great detail the catastrophic and hope-less situation in postwar Germany, the rise of the Nazi party, the battles against their oponents and finally the seizure of power in 1933 and what it means to Germany's future and the future hail of its people.
