THIS IS THE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND BOOK WITH THREE TELEFUNKEN SHELLAC DISCS WILL BE A HIGHLIGHT FOR ANYONES COLLECTION OF OLYMPIC GAMES MEMORABILIA!

olympia -tonbuch is by far the finest and rarest original Third Reich book on the Olympic Summer Games in Adolf Hitlers Berlin!

The 10-1/2 x 10-3/4 inches orange hardcover in excellent condition is the container for the photo book and three shellac discs. The size of the book is 10-1/4 x 10-1/4 inches, it has 200 pages, is full of wonderful photos and in as-new condition.

The right side of the cover box contains three pockets for three shellac discs with broadcastings of the Reichsrundfunk (the official Nazi radio) on the main events and competitions during the Olympic Summer Games! They were made by the well known Telefunken company. Telefunken had a big plant in Berlin which was used from the US Army Berlin Brigade as one of their barracks after the war (McNair barracks). Discs One and Two are in perfect condition, disc Three has a crack. We are no experts on this subject but think there should be a way to glue it back together, there are no pieces missing.

This incredible piece of Olympia history was put together by Paul Müller, head of the Olympic broadcasting station in Berlin (a special radio station established just for the Games). He was assisted by Dr. Friedrich Richter who was the chief editor of the official Olympia newspaper “Olympische Spiele 1936”. The Olympia-Tonbuch was published 1936 by the Verlag Bernhard & Graefe in Berlin.
