Offered for sale is a RARE ORIGINAL 1937 PATRIOTIC THIRD REICH BOOK UNSER DORFBUCH THE CHRONICLES OF OUR VILLAGE THIS VERY INTERESTING BOOK WAS MEANT TO DOCUMENT THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF A NAZI VILLAGE
The 8-3/4 x 12 inch, approx. 120-pages hardcover book was published 1937 by order of NSDAP Reichsorganisationsleiter Dr. Robert Ley in cooperation with the Nazi Minister of the Interior, Dr. Wilhelm Frick. The book, containing very nice artwork and ornaments (see some examples below) was intended to become an official documentary of a village or rural community in National Socialist Germany. Everything important that had some relationship to the NSDAP or any of its sub-organizations, the application of National Socialist beliefs, laws and rituals in the village were supposed to be documented in this book, also the achievements of single individuals from that village, such as receipients of the Mother's Cross, etc. were honored in this book. Besides that the book documented the place, role and importance of this village in the Nazi German Reich. After Hitler-Germany had collapsed in May 1945 probably most copies of this book were destroyed because they clearly documented how much a village or community supported the Nazi regime. The book that is offered for sale probably only survived because it does not have any entries. A very interesting and seldom offered piece of Third Reich / NSDAP / Blood and Soil history!
The Preface is written by Reichsorganisationsleiter der NSDAP Dr. Robert Ley
"Martyrs Of The (Nazi) Movement"
"Sacrifices Of Labor" - we don't know the meaning of this section in the book, what sacrifices were supposed to be documented. Nobody died because of forced labor in Germany in 1937 and if so it would have been an enemy of the State and would have not had the privilege to be mentioned in this book.
