VERY RARE ORIGINAL THIRD REICH PROPAGANDA POSTCARD FOR THE Reichsparteitag in Nürnberg 2. -11. September 1939 THE REICHS PARTY DAYS IN NUREMBERG WHICH WERE POSTPONED BECAUSE OF THE START OF THE WAR AND WHICH NEVER TOOK PLACE! A VERY RARE ITEM IN MINT CONDITION! Every one of the Reichs Party Days since 1933 had a motto, like "Parteitag der Arbeit", "Parteitag des Sieges", etc. and the motto for the 1939 Reichs Party Days was "Parteitag des Friedens" (Party Days of peace) but this motto did not really match with the war which had just started one day before the official start of the 1939 Reichstagung! That's why the 1939 Reichs Party Days were postponed until the end of the war. It did not work out the way it was planned from the National Socialists and the only ones who celebrated in 1945 on the Reichs Party Rally grounds in Nuremberg were American G.I. bands... The 1938 Reichsparteitag (also named Reichstagung) was the last one which took place. Original items like tinnies, postcards or other material for the canceled 1939 NSDAP Reichsparteitag are very rare! |
