The 8-1/2 x 9 inch, 128 pages hardcover book was published 1940 by the Regensburg city administration, printed by Gauverlag Bayerische Ostmark in Bayreuth. Offered here is a nice copy of the first edition which consisted of only 5,000 copies. Except for a little damage at the title page the book is in very good condition. The heavily illustrated book describes the history of this interesting Bavarian city, the his-toric architecture but also the achievements since the National Soci-alist seizure of power, such as the new Adolf-Hitler bridge over the Donau river, new settlements, booming tourism, etc.!
