The 6 x 7-1/2 inches hardcover book with 184 pages was written from Siegfried Hutter, Officer in a reconnaissance unit of the Luftwaffe. It was printed 1940 from the Schuetzen Verlag in Berlin, Germany. The book describes very detailed a very important aspect of modern warfare, the reconnaissance. Many Third Reich books concentrate on the heroic deeds of Stuka planes, tank units, etc. but there existed only little information on the men and their small planes from the reconnaissance units who layed the groundwork for these military victories! This book, written from an insider, was meant to close this gap. It is in very good condition, contains interesting photos and comes with its original, undamaged dust cover.
