The "Balkan" is the South-Eastern part of Europe, Serbia, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary

The "PANZERGRUPPE KLEIST" had become famous in Nazi

Germany (and feared from the enemy) in the Blitzkrieg against

Poland in 1939 which actually started World War II. Their fame

extended in the 1940 campaign in Western Europe which ended

with the surrender of Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland and France!

In the spring of 1941 they started their tanks again in their barracks

in Dresden, Germany and rolled via Wien (Vienna), Budapest,

Bukarest, Sofia to their final and victorious battle in Belgrad, capital

of Serbia!

This wonderful book was published by order of the

"Panzergruppe Kleist"

from the propaganda unit of this tank army and printed 1941
