The 8 x 8-3/4 inches hardcover book with 136 pages was published by order of the Reichs Leadership of the R.A.D. (Reichsarbeitsdienst) and printd 1941 from the Volk und Reich Verlag in Berlin. Except from some normal yellowing of the paper the book is in near mint condition. The book shows all kinds of different aspects of the Reichs Labor Service but not only men with shovels in their hands but also a lot on the female Reichs Labor Service! One very interesting aspect is that parts of this book clearly concentrate on the duties of the RAD in war times! Shown is RAD fixing trenches, repairing infrastructure in conquered territories, etc.! Very interesting historical material!
