NSDAP CHRISTMAS CALENDAR

APUBLISHED BY THE NSDAP CENTRAL PUBLISHING HOUSE FRANZ EHER IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE REICHSORGANISATIONSLEITER, THE NSDAP HAUPTSCHULUNGSAMT AND THE REICHSPROPAGANDALEITUNG!

A lot of people and/or Nazi offices were involved putting this very interesting calendar together: the Reichsorganisationsleiter (Dr. Ley), the main office for political education of the NSDAP and the office for cultural affairs in the propaganda ministry of Dr. Joseph Goebbels! This NSDAP calendar was used in the advent season, the mother opened the calendar on December 1st and hung it on the wall (that is what the hole is for at the top). Every evening she would turn over one page and read it to her children (one page has text and the facing page an illustration). On the evening of Decem-ber 24th she would close the calender (the night when Germans celebrate Christ-mas) and put it away until next year.
