The 7-1/4 x 10-1/4 inch, 58 pages soft cover booklet was published in May 1944 by Verlag Georg Westermann in Braunschweig and distributed by the German Red Cross to wounded soldiers in field hospitals abroad. These monthly periodicals contained the latest results of the sports events in the Reich (in peticular soccer), German art, life in the Reich (which already had changed a lot from normal at the time when this item was published) and other interesting topics. This issue i.e. contains a very interesting photo article about the Reichsautobahn. It is interesting that this publication was still printed on high quality paper when for most Third Reich publications paper of inferior quality had to be used because of shortages due to the late stage of the war. A very nice item in excellent condition!
