LOT OF TWO ORIGINAL 1940 /1941 BOOKS FOR ENTERTAINMENT OF SOLDIERS AT THE FRONT SOLDATENBLÄTTER FÜR FEIER UND FREIZEIT (Soldiers Pamphlet for Celebration and SpareTime) TWO OF THE SO-CALLED TORNISTERSCHRIFTEN THAT COULD EASILY BE CARRIED IN A BACKPACK OR ROLLED AND STORED IN THE BREAD PACK Offered here are two very nice copies of these 6-1/2 x 9-1/2 inch, 46 pages soft cover books which were published by order of the Armed Forces High Command. Each issue of this monthly publi-cation contained stories, photographs, poems, arts & crafts, math problems and other quizzes and games to amuse soldiers. There is also a song on the inside of each of the back covers. Offered for sale are the December 1940 Kriegsweihnachten (Field Christ-mas) edition and the January 1941 edition, both in very good con-dition with only minor signs of use along the edges. |
