some issues show some wear along the edges but as far as we could see all issues are complete. This lot contains a lot of what was important to the Nazi party in 1939, heavily illustrated with hundreds of photos!

PERIODICAL ILLUSTRIERTER BEOBACHTER 1939 (ILLUSTRATED OBSERVER) THE WEEKLY PHOTO PROPAGANDA VERSION OF THE NAZI PARTY NEWSPAPER VÖLKISCHER BEOBACHTER The Illustrierter Beobachter was a weekly propaganda ma-gazine, published from 1926 to 1945 by the NSDAP publi-shing house Franz Eher, Nachf. in Munich. The official NSDAP newspaper was the Völkischer Beobachter, the Illustrierter Beobachter was the heavily illustrated weekly version. Many issues show Adolf Hitler and other Nazi leaders on the cover. The interior articles covered every-thing that was regarded important by the NSDAP at that time, such as the Führer on all kinds of occasions, the Reich Party Days, visits from political leaders of foreign countries, the new Ger-man armed forces, the KdF car, the Reichsau-tobahn, the annex of Austria (in the 1938 issues), the annex of Bohemia and Moravia (in the 1939 issues) occasionally anti-Semitic articles and much more! Since the outbreak of the war in September 1939 the content shifted of course more to war themes. Each issue is heavily illustrated and contains a lot of interesting historical information.
