THREE ORIGINAL THIRD REICH WAR PHOTO BOOKS BEWAFFNETE ALPENHEIMAT KAMPF UM NORWEGEN VON DEN KARAWANKEN BIS KRETA A VERY INTERESTING SET OF BOOKS WITH MANY PHOTOS OF THE NAZI GERMANY MOUNTAIN TROOPS AND THE WARS IN NORWAY AND ON CRETE I.E. WITH EXCELLENT GERMAN PARATROOPER PHOTOS! ALL THREE BOOKS COME WITH THEIR ORIGINAL DUST JACKETS Offered here is a very nice addition to anyones collection of World War Two history! All three books were published by order of the Wehrmacht, two by the supreme command (Oberkommando) and one by the command of the mountain troops in Salzburg, Austria (since 1938 part of the Greater German Reich. All three books are in very good condition and contain many interesting photos on the war in Norway, the war in south-eastern Europe and of the battle-ready German mountain army.
 Very interesting dedication in the Crete book: 1) It was a was a birthday gift to a Franz-Josef, given on 20 April 1942 which was also Adolf Hitlers birthday(!) and 2) The person who gave it, Franz-Josef's uncle Bernhard, was a veteran who has been on the island Crete (Kreta) in 1941! Perhaps he was one of the brave German paratroopers who defeated the British in 1941?
