Under the Nazis the Press was "gleichgeschaltet", meaning everything that was published had to meet the requirements of the Nazi Party. Dr. Joseph Goebbels was head of the Reichspropagandaministerium and controlled everything that was published or broadcasted over the radio as well as what the fellow Germans were allowed to see on the movie screens. To keep the journalists, writers, editors, etc. up to date the periodical "Deutsche Presse" was published by the NSDAP owned Franz Eher Nachf. Publishing House. The big lot that is offered for sale gives a ton of very interesting information on how the Nazis controlled the German Press. Each issue also contains great advertisings for other Nazi publications, all published by the Zentralverlag der NSDAP Franz Eher Nachf.!
