FANTASTIC NAZI WEHRMACHT DIVISION REMEMBRANCE BOOK

A very rare wonderful 1942 photo book for veterans

of the famous DIVISION BLÜMM!!

 Offered for sale is this spectacular and hard to find original Third Reich photo book:

ABBEVILLE

subtitled ERINNERUNGSBUCH DER DIVISION BLÜMM

or remembrance book of the division Blümm

in absolutely AS-NEW condition! It also comes

with the often missing 27-1/2 x 18 inches fold-

out map which shows the way of this famous

Wehrmacht division in the Poland campaign in

1939 and during the war in the West starting at t

heir barracks in Remagen, Germany (remember

the famous movie about one of the only intact

bridges over the Rhine river?) to LeHavre in

France at the Atlantic Ocean!
The book was published by order of the general command

VII.A.K. and put together from Major Gehring. It was

printed 1941 from the Zentralverlag der NSDAP, Franz

Eher Nachf. in München (Munich), Germany. The Central 

Publishing House of the NSDAP was the official printer of

the Nazis.

Following a full page picture of the Divisions Commander,

Generalleutnant and Knight's Cross Holder Oskar Blümm,

the fantastic book gives in-depth information about the

situation shortly before World War II started, then of

course the Blitzkrieg against Poland in Sept 1939. The

major part of this book, however, deals about the war

against the British, French and Dutch (who surrendered

after 2 days) troops in Luxembourg, Belgium and France in

1940! 

One of the greatest victories of Division Blümm was to

form a bridgehead near the French town of Abbeville and

to break through the enemy lines from there in early June

1940 which had a significant impact on the fast victory in

the West! The town Abbeville was also the place where a

young private fought in 1917 in World War I.

His name : ADOLF HITLER

Definitely a fantastic book with 180 black & white photos,

all shot from members of the Division Blümm, which you

will hardly find again in such a wonderful condition!
