1939 Gau sports competition in Africa

This 7-1/2 x 10-1/4 inch, 120-page hardcover book by Helmut & Erna Blenck was published 1939 by the Reichskolonialbund, the Nazi organization for the Germans living in the German colonies in Africa. The book contains excellent full color photos (all full page photos!) on the country, the nature and National Socialist life in the colonies. Germany lost its colonies after the collapse of the Third Reich in 1945. The book must have been slightly exposed to moisture as the cover is bent a bit (this might straighten out once the book finds its place in between other books on a book shelf), other than that it is in very good condition. A great reference on a part of Nazi history which is not as much documented the events that happened between 1933 and 1945 in Germany (and from 1939 on in the occupied territories)!
