Offered for sale is an excellent original 1942/43 photo album from
OBERLEUTNANT der GEBIRGSJÄGER GEORG HUTZLER who served at the Eastern front! This outstanding photo album contains about 70 excellent original photos, all well explained either on the back of the photos or in the photo album. The album belonged to OBERLEUTNANT der GEBIRGSJÄGER GEORG HUTZLER who first served with the Geb.Jäg.Rgt.99, then Rgt.98 of the 1.Geb.Div. in Poland and France and later with Geb.Jäg.Rgt.206 of the 7.Geb.Div. in Lappland (Finland). Hutzler was KIA on 4-10-1944 near Tornio (Finland) by a sniper. The album starts at Ilmensee, then comes the journey to Finland aboard the “Urundi” and service in Finland.

There are at least six photos of worn Knight’s Crosses! A terrific album which will be well researchable as all the photos are annotated with many names! |
