Arbeitsmaiden in the Reichs labor service district XI, Hessen. It was printed 1941 from the Verlag Erich Klinghammer in Berlin, Germany. The 8-1/2 x 10 inches hard cover book with 96 pages gives a lot of in-depth information about the female Reichs Labor Service (Reichsarbeitsdienst or R.A.D.), excellent illustrated with a lot of photos, most of them full page photos. The first inner page contains the signatures of 35 young women who spent their R.A.D. time together from October 1941 to March 1942, probably in the Reichsarbeitsdienstlager (Reichs Labor Service camp) Niedermoos as this one is underlined in red on the map of RAD camps in Hessen on the next page! The book contains songs they sang, photos and descriptions of jobs they had to do, how they lived, what they did in their spare time and so on. All in all an outstanding book on the "weibliche Reichsarbeitsdienst" (female Reichs Labor Service)!
