item #A-336 Offered for sale is a RARE ORIGINAL 1933 PHOTO BOOK ON THE SEIZURE OF POWER AUFBRUCH DER NATION (MARCHING OFF OF THE NATION) A PHOTO DOCUMENTATION OF THE NAZI MOVEMENT FROM 1914 TO 1933! This 7 x 9-3/4 inch, 112-pages soft cover book by F. Fikenscher was published 1933 by Verlag Michael Proegel in Ansbach (Bavaria), Germany. The book was intended to be a school book for Middle Schools in Hitler-Germany. It contains a summary of the horrible living and working conditions in Germany after the end of World War One, the origins of the National Socialist Move-ment and their struggle for power which finally led to the seizure of power in 1933. The text of course is written in a very pro-Nazi way, making sure that the kids in school that worked with this book were taught only the facts the Nazis wanted them to know.
