Bei uns in Deutschland was written by Friedrich Heiss and published 1938 by Volk und Reich Verlag in Berlin. The 8-3/4 x 9-1/4 inch, about 120-pages hardcover book in very good condition is a photo report of the improvements of the living and working conditions in the first five years of National Socialist Germany. The heavily illustrated book contains very little text but excellent full page photos throughout. Presented are many examples of distinctive NS archi-tecture, such as the Reich Party Day Grounds, the Olympic Stadium, the award winning German Pavillon at the 1937 World Exhibition in Paris (see below) and the Reichsautobahn. Also shown are improvements in factories, etc., the KdF, DAF, Wehrmacht, some Adolf Hitler (of course), German art, German nature and much more!
