Blut und Boden / blood & soil and the swastika with a sword and a ear of corn was the symbol of the Nazi farming organization in the German Third Reich.

A VERY RARE ADDITION TO ANYONES COLLECTION OF THIRD REICH HISTORY

The 14 x 15-3/4 inches, vaulted enamel sign has most of the original enamel left, there is only some minor damage on the lower right corner and both upper corners, on the lower left corner about 2 x 2 inches of the original enamel is gone, the metal has been repainted, the rest is all original and in very good untouched condition.

The REICHSNÄHRSTAND - BLUT UND BODEN was the official Nazi farming organization under the leadership of Walter Darre'. Every rural town or village had a representative of this oranisation, called the ORTSBAUERNFÜHRER who was the leader of the chapter of the NS farming organization in this town.
