BERLINER ILLUSTRIRTE ZEITUNG

BOUND IN TWO HEAVY VOLUMES

The Berliner Illustrirte Zeitung was a weekly periodical, each issue contained the highlights of the week, heavily illustrated with many photos. Offered here is the entire year 1936 of this very interesting periodical from Hitler's Berlin! Because the 1936 Olympic Summer Games took place in Berlin many photo reports deal with this subject. There is of course a lot of well illustrated infor-mation on Nazi events (see below), world politics as well as a very nice over-view on the daily life in Third Reich Berlin and Germany. The binding of both volumes is tight, as far as we could see there are no pages loose or missing, there is some minor damage along the edges of some issues which does not affect the photos or text. A very interesting lot for anyone interested in Third Reich history!
