Offered for sale is a RARE ORIGINAL CASED THIRD REICH VERWUNDETENABZEICHEN IN GOLD WOUND BADGE IN GOLD A VERY NICE ITEM WITH FULL MONEY BACK GUARANTEE FOR AUTHENTICITY The Third Reich Verwundetenabzeichen (Wound Badge) of World War Two looked similar to the badge of World War One with the addition of a swastika on the steel helmet. It was presented in three levels: black, silver and gold to soldiers of all branches of the Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS. Those who got wounded once or twice received the black wound badge, those who were wounded three or four times received silver and gold was awarded from the fifth time wounded on.
there is a maker mark stamped into the pin but even under a magnifying glass we were unable to decipher the markings
