HARD TO FIND ORIGINAL THIRD REICH PHOTO BOOK ON THE HITLER YOUTH AND B.D.M. dAS ist die hj (this is the Hitler Youth / Hitler-Jugend) WITH EXCELLENT H.J. PHOTOS THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE BOOK! This seldom offered 7 x 10 inches soft cover book was put together from Willi Körber by order of Reichs Youth Leader Baldur v. Schirach. It has only very little text but excellent photos, photos, photos! The intention of this book, which is in near mint condition, was to show both boys and girls and their parents what it means to become a part of the Hitler-Jugend (HJ or Hitler Youth)! Shown are different branches of the HJ (Marine-HJ, etc.), lots of camp and marching photos and so on! There are many close-up photos of HJ and BDM uniforms, making this book a number one reference guide for anyone interested in Third Reich uniforms, too! It was printed (probably between 1935 and 1938) from the Deutscher Jugendverlag in Berlin.
