Offered for sale is a RARE NS-VOLKSWOHLFAHRT PHOTO BOOK HONORING THE GERMAN MOTHER DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER WITH FULL PAGE PHOTOS AND HITLER QUOTATIONS This 7-1/2 x 8-1/2 inch, 24-page hardcover booklet was published between 1940 and 1942 by the Gauamt für Volkswohlfahrt (district office of the NS Department of Welfare) in the Gau (NS district) Düsseldorf in honor of the German mother. The book contains several full page Adolf Hitler photos as well as lots of quotes from Nazi leaders (Hitler, von Schirach, Göring, Gertrud Scholtz-Klink, Dr. Goebbels, among others), all praising the importance of the German mother. There is a handwritten dedication in German at the end of the book, it is dated September 1, 1942 and is about destiny and being strong to master every difficulty one might face in life. The last two pages are cut out, probably containing some personal information, the rest of this item is in very good condition.
