DEUTSCHLAND ZWISCHEN NACHT UND TAG or “Germany between night and day” is the title of this spectacular Nazi photo book in very good condition!It was written from Friedrich Heiß and printed 1934 from the Volk und Reich Verlag in Berlin, Germany. The size of this very interesting hardcover book is 9-3/4 x 10-1/4 (!) inches, it contains 300 pages with 3 2 0+ (!!) excellent rare black & white photos (many of them full page and almost the rest half page photos), dozens of maps and statistics on the German Reich's way from misery after the lost WWI and the unfair treaty of Versailles to a great proud and strong nation under the National Socialist Regime! |

It is almost impossible to list the whole content of this fantastic book but this is in general what you find, everything heavily illustrated:
- the miserable living condition in Germany in the 20´s with 6+ million people unemployed - the menace by strong Armies of the neighbouring countries France, Poland,England, etc. - how Germany rises up again thank to the efforts of Adolf Hitler and the National Socialists - progress on the labor market because of Nazi labor programs like the Reichs-Autobahn project, etc. (see Adolf ´s first symbolic dig in the mud to get the project started on the photo below) - how the Youth became a future again thanks to the Hitlerjugend (HJ or Hitler Youth) - Reichsarbeitsdienst RAD marching and in action - SA marching and celebrating the Führer together with the grateful German people - dozens and dozens of photos showing the entire Greater German Reich its inhabitants. - lots of propagandistic photos showing Aryan farmers, workers, SA and Wehrmacht faces protecting the Nazi Reich - etc., etc., etc., ...! |
