Offered for sale is a very nice cased WWI Iron Cross with the first class Spange attached to the top. It is in a fitted case which has the "Juncker" logo on the inside top. The maker of the iron cross is different than Juncker though, but that is not unusual. The original owner probably took his iron cross to Juncker and they sold him the spange, attached it to the top of the cross and supplied the fitted case. This combination was awarded to soldiers who received the Iron Cross during World War One and then again in the war that started with the Blitzkrieg against Poland in 1939 and ended with the collapse of the Third Reich in may 1945.
