Offered for sale is an absolutely hard to come by original Third Reich item!!!
EHREN - CHRONIK or "chronique of honor" is the title of this wonderful original Nazi era item which looks like the typical photo albums of that time. But this rarity is not a photo album, this one was intended as a reminder of Nazi vetaerans for their active duty for Adolf Hitler and their German homeland! As you surely know from the history of World War II there were very few soldiers who were discharged from the Nazi Wehrmacht as they needed everybody who was capable to hold a rifle or "Panzerfaust", especially towards the end when they drafted even kids and old men into the so called "Volkssturm"! So probably very few of Hitlers soldiers have ever received this book of honor and the former owner of this one offered here also never found the time to fill out all his personal data. Perhaps he was killed in action before or lost his live during one of the countless air raids, or he survived and did not want to remember what he had to see at the front in WWII.... |
