The Henschel Flugzeugwerke (HFW) were founded in March 1933. In March 1939 the company that manufactured train engines, trucks and since 1941 the feared Tiger tank celebrated six years of continued support for Nazi Germany. The celebration took place in the Berliner Sportpalast, best known for Dr. Joseph Goebbel's speech on Total War that he held there in 1943.
