RARE ORIGINAL 1938 THIRD REICH PHOTO BOOK ON ADOLF HITLER'S JANUARY 1933 ELECTION CAMPAIGN IN THE LIPPE REGION HITLER GEHT AUF DIE DÖRFER (HITLER GOES OUT INTO THE SMALL VILLAGES) THIS HARD TO FIND BOOK DESCRIBES THE HISTORIC ELECTION IN LIPPE, WHICH WAS THE FIRST LANDTAG (DIET) IN WHICH THE NSDAP GOT THE MAJORITY IN 1933! A VERY IMPORTANT BOOK ON THE NAZI SEIZURE! This very interesting 6 x 9 inches hardcover book with 230 pages is the most comprehensive original Third Reich photo report printed as a book on the historic 1933 election in the Lippe region. After the Nazis suffered a heavy loss in the 1932 election Hitler saw the strategic importance to win the first Landtag (diet) election in January 1933 which took place in Lippe. And so he spent a lot more of his time in this election campaign than in any previous one, Hitler held sixteen speeches in ten days in the small town Lippe and literally fought for every single voice! And it worked: the NSDAP won the election in Lippe! The victory in Lippe was like a starting-shot and the Nazi Party won all subsequent 1933 elections! Who knows what would have happened if the N.S.D.A.P. would have lost again in Lippe? This very interesting photo book was written by Arno Schröder who was editor of the "Lippischer Kurier" and also "Gaupresseamtsleiter" in Lippe. He used his personal notes and his newspaper articles to write this compre-hensive report about this historic election! The book is in very good condition, the only damage is a small hole in the back side which looks like a small caliber bullet hole. The rets of the book is in very good condition.
