# F - 147 Offered for sale is a RARE ORIGINAL 1933 THIRD REICH PHOTO BOOK ON ADOLF HITLER'S TIME IN LANDSBERG PRISON AFTER THE FAILED BEER HALL PUTSCH HITLER HINTER FESTUNGSMAUERN (HITLER BEHIND BARS) BY SS-STANDARTENFÜHRER OTTO LURKER, STRAFANSTALTSWACHTMEISTER (GUARD) AT LANDSBERG PRISON The scarce 5-1/4 x 8-1/4 inch, 76 page soft cover book was written by SS-Standarten-führer Otto Lurker and published 1933 by Verlag Mittler in Berlin. After the failed Beer Hall Putsch on 9 November 1923 Hitler was sentenced to 5 years and 4 months of prison. He was sent to Landsberg prison where he wrote his famous bestseller Mein Kampf. He was released way before the end of his sentence. The book gives a lot of information on the time Hitler spent behind bars and will make an important addition to anyones collection of historic Adolf Hitler material! The rare original dust jacket has some minor flaws along the edges, the book itself is in excellent condition.
