item # F - 144 Offered for sale is a SCARCE ORIGINAL 1939 ADOLF HITLER MEDALLION MINTED ON OCCASION OF THE ANNEX OF AUSTRIA The medallion measures 1-3/8 inch in diameter, it comes with its original box It was minted after the annex of Austria when Germany became Grossdeutschland (Greater German Reich). It was made in Vienna, Austria and is marked on the rim "Muenzamt Wien 835". 835 is the purity hallmark of European silver, which is 83.5 copper.
