THIS DOCUMENT WAS USED TO REGISTER JEWS AND THEIR POSSESSIONS IN OCCUPIED POLAND! VERY INTERESTING ANTI-SEMITIC MATERIAL OF GREAT HISTORICAL VALUE!

Right after the Blitzkrieg against Poland the German Police under the leadership of Reichsführer-SS und Chef der Deutschen Polizei Heinrich Himmler started to register all Jews and other declared enemies of the Reich.

A bilingual (German and Polish) form was created, the Anmeldung zur polizeilichen Erfassung which enabled the Nazis to easily register the details of Jews and their belongings. Questions 6, 7, 8 and 10, 11 & 12 ask some "dangerous" questions: 6. Religion, 7. Ethnicity, 8. What language do you speak at home, 10. Did you serve in the Polish Army and what was your rank, 11. Do you own a business (give details) and 12. Do you own a house (details), so obviously answering question 10 would more than likely hasten your "disappearance" and as a result your belongings at 11 and 12 would revert to the Nazi State...
