It is a wonderful original Third Reich LW yearbook containing everything the Nazis found important to know for their pilots and Luftwaffe members late in the war in 1944!

This excellent book is subtitled "Das Handbuch der Luftwaffe" (the handbook of the Luftwaffe) and it is crammed with all kinds of information, how to determine the weather, silhouettes of enemy planes, lots of photos of different Luftwaffe "branches", a complete list of who received which high awards in the Luftwaffe in 1943, from them who received the Oak Leaves with swords and diamonds to the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross (!) to those who received the Knights Cross, a full calendarium for the year 1944, etc.! |
