item# I - 144 Offered for sale is a RARE ORIGINAL 1944 THIRD REICH LUFTWAFFE POCKET CALENDAR DEUTSCHER LUFTWAFFEN KALENDER 1944 A RARE LATE WAR RELIC FROM THE NAZI AIR FORCE This 3-3/4 x 5-3/4 inch, 300-page hardcover book, approved by the State Air Ministry was published 1944 by J.M. Reindl Verlag in Bamberg, Germany. It contains everything the pilots and personnel of Hermann Göhrings Luft-waffe could possibly be interested in, such as a lot of technical questions, different aircraft of the Luftwaffe and those of the enemies, LW receipients of the Knights Cross, weapons such as the Luger 08, MG34 or MP40, a full calendar for the year 1940 and much more. The last approx. 30 pages con-tain very interesting Third Reich advertisings, all related to the Luftwaffe and German aviation. Considering that this item was published in the late stages of the war using the then used paper of inferior quality this pocket calendar is of very good condition. A very interesting original 1944 book for anyone interested in the history of the Third Reich Luftwaffe.
