This excellent late war Luftwaffe Paratroopers badge is maker marked "PM" Paul Meybauer Berlin. It is in a worn state. It comes from the estates of an American vet who served as a MP in WWII. He was stationed at a German POW camp near Brownsville, Texas and he traded this piece for three packs of cigarettes, a common practice at that time. American soldiers traded with POW's all the time either goods or services.
