Offered here is an interesting piece. It belonged to an enlisted pilot with the name Kuhn. Kuhn is his last name and it has a silk tab with his name and unit on the inside of the cap. A very rare cap due to the silver/aluminum cord indicates a pilot. For they were the only ones besides Luftwaffe officers to have this distinction. The cap was made by CARL HALFAR, a uniform and cap maker in Berlin. The cap is in very good, unaltered condition, there are a few small moth holes on the top as well as along the sides.
