the rare book was printed in occasion of an exhibition which took place in occupied Litzmannstadt which showed the achievements and improvements in this region since the German occupation and since the Jews were removed from influential positions!
the text under this photograph says: a typical member of the "doomed Race"!
deportation of the Jews into the Litsmannstadt Ghetto! The headline on the page above says: "In Litzmannstadt the Judaism has been hit at its mainspring!"

VERY RARE ORIGINAL ANTISEMITIC 1941 NAZI PHOTO BOOK DER OSTEN DES WARTHELANDES FULL OF PHOTOS FROM THE TOWN LITZMANNSTADT IN THE GENERALGOUVERNEMENT WHICH BECAME WELL KNOWN BECAUSE OF ITS JEWISH GHETTO! This very hard to find book was published 1941 for an exhibition which took place in Litzmannstadt in 1940. The town's name was Lodsch (Lodz) before the German occupation and was renamed to Litzmannstadt. The 6 x 8-1/4 inches soft cover book is in very good condition. It has 320 heavily illustrated pages with 165 photos and illustrations and a very antisemitic content! It was published from the Reichspropaganda Amt and printed 1941 from the Friedel printing company in Stuttgart, Germany.
