RARE ORIGINAL 1939 THIRD REICH PHOTO BOOK ON THE MAKING OF THE HITLER YOUTH MOVIE MARSCHTRITT DEUTSCHLAND A HARD TO FIND BOOK ON THE "ADOLF-HITLER-MARCH" The 6 x 8-1/4 inches hardcover book with 170 extremely interesting pages was written by Alfred Schuetze and printed 1939 by Loewes Verlag in Stuttgart. The heavily illustrated book describes in detail the making of the well known Hitler Youth movie "Adolf - Hitler - Marsch". The so called Adolf Hitler Marsch took place the first time in 1935 when the flags of the Hitler Youth were carried by foot (march) from all parts of the German Reich to Nuremberg on occasion of the Reichs Party Days. The flags were carried to the Party Day Grounds and presented to the Führer. According to the preface in the book it was a great honor for each of the HJ boys to participate in this march and that it expressed the deep love the German youth felt to Adolf Hitler... In March of 1938 Reichs Youth Leader Baldur v. Schirach ordered the making of a movie of the Adolf-Hitler-Marsch. This book describes how the movie was made. There are eighty photos which were taken during the shooting of the film. The only imperfection is that the cover is a little loose, the rest of this rare book is in very good condition and will make a great addition for anyones collection of historical Hitler Youth material. |
