SUPER RARE ORIGINAL 1925 FIRST EDITION COPY

VOLUME ONE OF ADOLF HITLER's BESTSELLER

Mein Kampf

(My struggle)

THIS BOOK WAS FIRST PUBLISHED IN 1925 IN A NUMBER OF ONLY 500 COPIES - 1945, AT THE END OF THE WAR 10+ MILLION COPIES HAD BEEN PRINTED! A VERY VERY RARE AND VALUEABLE PIECE OF HISTORY! A SIGNED COPY OF THIS FIRST EDITION WAS SOLD AT A BRITISH AUCTION HOUSE FOR $43,000 IN THE SUMMER OF 2006! HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO GET AN UNSIGNED COPY OF THE SAME BOOK FOR A LOT LESS!

The early editions of "Mein Kampf were published in a bigger size! The later editions had the same size like a standard German bible.

This is a super rare copy of the first print of the "Nazi bible", the 1st edition, printed 1925by the Publishing House Franz Eher. This company shortly later became the official publishing house of the NSDAP. Hitler published his book in two volumes, volume one was published in 1925 and volume two in December 1926. Both books did not sell very well until Hitler was elected in 1933 and it became more or less mandatory for every German household to own a copy of the "Nazi bible", Mein Kampf to show support for the Nazi movement! An estimated 10 million copies of this book were printed until 1945 in several different variations like the blue "Volksausgabe" (peoples edition), the "Hochzeitsausgabe" (marriage edition) which was handed out to freshly married couples on the day of their marriage or the red "Tornister-ausgabe", a lightweight version printed on thin paper for the soldier at the front. Many or most of them were burnt or otherwise destroyed after the Third Reich had collapsed and every original copy of "Mein Kampf" is a valueable addition to anyone's collection of Third Reich history. But a copy of one of the first editions, years before Adolf Hitler became Chancellor of the German Reich is very very hard to find and will make an important addition to any collection of Adolf Hitler and Third Reich history!

The last pages have full page pictures of posters from the early 1920s advertising events where Adolf Hitler held speeches. On each of them it says "Jews are not allowed to attend"!

The overall condition of this rarity is good, the binding is tight, all pages are complete and undamaged, only the cover shows the 80+ years of age of this book.

Adolf Hitler's autobiography and political manifest. The copy which is offered for sale here was printed 1925 in the first edition by the Central Publishing house of the NSDAP, Franz Eher, Nachf. in Munich, Germany. Hitler dictated this book to his secretary, Rudolf Hess while imprisoned in Landsberg after the failed 1923 revolution. The first editions (1925 and 1926) were only "Band I" (volume one), "Band II" (volume two) was first published in December 1926! All the "official" Third Reich copies (1933 to 1945) contained both volumes in one book. Very very few of the first editions have survived. When this book first came out it was not a success, few people cared about the book in 1925 which would almost have had a much longer title. The original title Hitler chose was "Viereinhalb Jahre [des Kampfes] gegen Lüge, Dummheit und Feigheit" (Four and a Half Years [of Struggle] against Lies, Stupidity and Cowardice). His Nazi publisher, Max Amann, decided this title was too complicated and had it shortened to Mein Kampf (simply "My Struggle"). Before Hitler became Reichs Chancellor of Germany in 1933, Mein Kampf sold very slowly; but in 1933 alone it sold 1.5 million copies. Although the NSDAP claimed that it was already a huge seller, documents revealed after the end of World War II showed this to be false.

even the photo is different from the later printed "standard" copies!

Below is a CNN report of a first edition copy that was sold at an auction in England in the summer of 1926:

LONDON, England -- A first edition of Adolf Hitler's "Mein Kampf," signed by the author, has been sold for £23,800 ($43,000).

The book is thought to have been removed from one of the Nazi leader's offices at the end of World War II, UK's Press Association reported.

The first edition, which went under the hammer with Bloomsbury Auctions in London, was signed by the Nazi leader in ink on the inside.

Hitler wrote "Mein Kampf" ("My Struggle") after being imprisoned for his part in the Beer Hall Putsch in 1923. He laid out his views on Aryan purity, world Jewry, and international communism. It was first published in two volumes with the book going under the hammer being the first volume. About 500 copies of the autobiography and political manifesto were originally printed.
