Offered for sale is a RARE ORIGINAL 1941 THIRD REICH PHOTO BOOK IN HONOR OF THE MOTHER das antlitz der mutter (the face of the mother) IN VERY GOOD CONDITION This excellent 8 x 11-1/4 inch, 64 page hardcover book was published 1941 by Genius Verlag in Berlin, it is in very good condition. The first half of the book describes the importance of the mother, regarded by the author as honorable as the war heroes at the front lines and there is an index of the pictures which are shown on high quality glossy paper in the second half of the book. There are artworks from famous painters such as Albrecht Dürer, Lukas Cranach, Hans Holbein, Anton von Dyk, Rembrandt, Wilhelm Leible, among others.
