VERY RARE ORIGINAL BIG NAT. SOZ. FRAUENSCHAFT SIGN A VERY DECORATIVE PIECE OF THIRD REICH MEMORABILIA!
The size of this excellent item is 32 x 35 (!) inches (width x height), it is made out of high quality German 5mm (3/16") plywood with a very artful professional paint job. It is a big exact copy of the NS-Frauenschaft mem-bership pin as worn by members of the NSDAP organization for women in the German Third Reich. Collectors still have a realistic chance to find an original membership pin among all the fakes on the market but one will hardly find a better original big sign like this one anywhere!
It is painted on both sides, the back has a round RZM (Reichszeug-meisterei) label painted in gold in the middle, the artist painted his name (P. Sachsenröder) on the lower right of the back. The sign has two original hangers at the top.
The Nat. Soz. Frauenschaft (NS-Frauenschaft or NSF) was founded in October of 1931 as a union of several national and national socialistic women's organizations in Germany. The NSF was declared the only "partei-amtliche" (official) NSDAP organization for women in the German Third Reich. From February 1934 to the collapse of the Third Reich in 1945 Gertrud Scholz-Klink was the leader of the Nat. Soz. Frauenschaft. Her official title was the "Reich Women's Leader" ("Reichsfrauenführerin"). She was married to SS-Obergruppenführer and SS General August Heiss-meyer. Together they had eleven children.
