RARE ORIGINAL NSDAP OFFICIAL ENAMEL SIGN OF A NAZI MAYOR'S ASSISTANT WOHNUNG DES BEIGEORDNETEN (HOME OF THE ASSISTANT) A VERY HARD TO FIND ORIGINAL PIECE OF THIRD REICH MEMORABILIA IN GOOD CONDITION! The 19-3/4 x 13-1/4inches, vaulted enamel sign has about 85% of the original enamel left, where it is gone the metal has been professionally repainted including half of the letter "B" of the word Beigeordneter, the sign is 100% original and in good condition. The BEIGEORDNETER was the official assistant of a Mayor in any town in Hitler-Germany. According to the "Nazi bible", the ORGANISATIONSBUCH DER NSDAP which also regulated the kind of official Third Reich signs, their size, where to be mounted, etc. the Mayor, his assistant (Beigeordneter) and other higher rank officials where allowed to mount a sign like the one offered for sale at the entrance of their house or appartment so that everyone knew where to find them.
