The total height of this rare original item is 150mm or 6 inches. The eagle was originally silver plated but like with many of the late war Third Reich medals the plating came off, at least for the most part. The eagle has a nice patina and the stone base is in very good condition, too. The only imperfection (which is not visible when this item is on display) is that somebody poured some har-dened out material in the bottom hole to secure the bolt that holds the eagle and base together.
