The 7 x 9-3/4 inch, 100-pages hardcover book by Gerhard Starcke was published 1936 by Freiheitsverlag in Berlin, Germany. The book contains full page photos throughout about the first three May 1st Labor Day celebrations under the National Socialists. The traditional German holiday became a huge Nazi propaganda event with parades and speeches held by Nazi officials. The book has some stain spots on the title page and the first and last (blank) pages, otherwise very good condition. The excellent photo material makes it a valuable addition to every collection of historical Third Reich material.
