RARE ORIGINAL 1940 PHOTO BOOK ON THE WESTWALL, THE AMAZING FORTIFICATION ALONG THE WESTERN BORDER OF THE GREATER GERMAN REICH BUILT BY THE ORGANISATION TODT DAS buch VOM WESTWALL A VERY INTERESTING THIRD REICH BOOK! The size of this hard to find hardcover book is 6 x 8-1/2 inches with 126 very interesting pages on the history of the fortifications along the German-French border but mostly on the design and construction of the Westwall by Dr. Fritz Todt and his construction organization which also was in charge of the Reichsautobahn and, after France had surrendered in 1940, for the construction of the gigantic U-Boat bunkers at the Atlantic coast. The book was printed 1940 from the Elsner Verlag Berlin - Wien - Leipzig and is in very good condition. Only the pages have some normal yellowing. A great addition for anyones collection of Organisation Todt (OT) and Third Reich construction and architecture!
