THE REICHSAUTOBAHN (or Reichs Highway project) This fantastic book was first published 1937 from the Gauverlag Bayreuth (Richard Wagners hometown – Hitlers favorite componist), Germany and written from Erna Lendvai-Dircksen, the copy offered for sale is a mint example of the 2nd edition which came out five (!) years later in 1942! This spectacular hardcover book is in fantastic condition and really the best original piece on this subject we have ever seen! |

The book does not only contain wonderful photos
(ALL FULL PAGE PHOTOS by the way!) of one of the biggest building projects in Adolf Hitlers Greater German Reich, the AUTOBAHN but also all the different people who worked on the building sites from the Baltic Sea up north down to the Alps in the south of the Reich! ALL IN ALL IT CONTAINS 100 MINT PHOTOS from different Reichsautobahn building sites, happy Aryan workers and the finished product: the wonderful Autobahn which created thousands of jobs in the early 1930s and which was one of the masterpieces of the Organisation Todt (OT) but which was also a big advantage for the Allies towards the end of World War II as they could move forward on Hitlers highways very fast!! |
