item #G - 229 / C - 157 Offered for sale is a VERY RARE ORIGINAL WAFFEN-SS WEHRPASS UNALTERED ID-DOCUMENT FROM A GUARD AT SACHSENHAUSEN CONCENTRATION CAMP This very interesting historical document was issued August 8, 1940 to Wilhelm Weide in Potsdam, Germany. He was drafted and assigned to the Ersatzreserve I, then in August 1944 he was transfered to the 3. SS-Totenkopf-Sturmbann in K.L. (Concentration Camp) Sachsenhausen (see below). Second (Wartime) issue Waffen SS Wehrpass to Concentration Camp guard Wilhelm Weide. Guard at KZ Sachsenhausen. Civilian photo to front. Entered the forces in November 1939. No assignment entries prior to August 1944 when he joined Sachsenhausen. Wehrpass is in almost mint condition. No arm of service stamp on front cover. Also comes with a small A5 document for the war wounded, So looks like he was either wounded early in the war then drafted back into the Concentration Camp service in 1944, or was a veteran called up for camp service. Great condition KZ guard book.
