HAUPTAMT PROPAGANDA

(Reichs Propaganda Leadership of the NSDAP, Main office Propaganda)

contains the complete speech Dr. Joseph Goebbels held on

18 February 1943 in the Berliner Sportpalast!

This very patriotic, Anti-Jewish and Anti-Bolshevist speech is by

far the most famous speech and probably the best speech

Goebbels ever held for the National Socialists! The whole speech is

printed in this scarce original Third Reich 5-1/2 x 8 inches booklet

which has 32 pages. The booklet has some water damage as you

can see on the photos but there are so few original copies of this

rarity which survived the "De-Nazification" after May 1945 that you

should not wait for a better copy to show up one day, who knows

when or even if you will find another...! The Allies destroyed as

much of the Nazi literature as they could find but especially this

symbolic speech of Dr. Joseph Goebbels was regarded extremely

dangerous material and original copies of this booklet were

destroyed immediatedly!

In his speech he makes clear that the Jew is a kind of infection or

disease which has to and will be defeated with radical methods and

that Germany does not care how the other countries think about it!

The German 6th Army was defeated at Stalingrad shortly before which was a severe shock for the German people and Dr. Goebbels wanted to help to hold up the moral and held this flaming speech in front of hand picked Nazis who filled the famous Sportpalast in Berlin! But even when the audience was hand picked, they reacted with so many "Heil Hitlers" and supported every word he said that Goebbels himself was amazed. That's what he told Albert Speer afterwards. The speech printed in this booklet contained the world known two sentences:

"WOLLT IHR DEN TOTALEN KRIEG?"

(Do you want the total war? - addressed to the German people)

and, to close the flaming speech:

"NUN VOLK STEH AUF UND STURM BRICH LOS!"

(Now, people rise up and let the storm break loose!)

The ministers final words were lost in unending stormy applause!
